Choosing a Class:
- At the Hub we have a full schedule of classes and a variety of styles for you to choose from. If you’re newer to practicing yoga, Open Level and/or Level 1 Yoga are a great place to learn the basics at a slower pace. Deepen your practice with detailed postural alignment instructions in Mixed Level and Anusara Inspired classes. For students looking for less talk and more movement, the studio offers a few vinyasa-style classes, including Mixed Level Flow and, the more vigorous, Power Yoga. And if you need to relax and recoup, effectively do so in Restorative Yoga.
- Beginner's Yoga
- This class is for new(er) students to Yoga and is meant to provide good foundation and alignment at a slower pace.
- Anusara Inspired
- Classes use a spiritual theme or teaching as the main foundation to define the purpose of the yoga practice and its relation to asana, alignment, movement and biomechanics. Anusara Inspired teachers are certified by Anusara at www.anusara.com.
- Breathing for Life
- The intention of this class is to explore riding the waves of stress and change via a talking circle and the practice of active breathing meditation (as taught by David Elliott)
- Donation Power Yoga
- A vigorous vinyasa flow class focusing on linking the breath with movement. Emphasis on building physical as well as mental strength. Donation-based classes are offered in the spirit of anonymous giving. It does not mean these classes are "free." It means that we don't want to exclude anyone based entirely on dollars, and so we leave it up to you to give what you can afford.
- Level 1 Yoga
- Emphasis is on building a strong foundation with good alignment. Ideal for beginning students with an eye to progressing your practice.
- Mixed Level Yoga
- This class is designed so that all levels can practice together in a safe and playful space, and where everyone can be challenged and uplifted at the same time.
- Open Level Yoga
- This class is suitable for all levels of students, no matter your amount of previous yoga experience.
- Radiant Movement
- Through a series of dynamic movement and breathing exercises, this unique class will guide you more into your vibrant, radiant energy and allow you to let your light shine and heart sing!
- Restorative Yoga
- Use of props to support the body in basic supine postures to encourage deep relaxation and allow the body to restore itself completely.
